Clean establishment. Nice staff and service. Good food

We did takeout here the other night. Your standard Chinese restaurant food. Lo-mein and General Tso was great. It was also nice that they participated in handing out treats for Halloween. If I had to say something bad it's that there was no angry Asian lady to yell at me when I picked up my order. Instead I was greeted by a friendly girl (lolz).

Excellent large portions, but make sure you order enough rice. Vegetables cooked perfectly.

Very basic .. not going back saw the 4 star rating. Everything tasted the same. Rice was hard .. flavors were missing. My kids generally love any restaurant food and I think this is the first time they actually disliked it.

Great food, great service, wasn't too busy. Just a really nice little place!

If you like Canadian style Chinese food this place is for you. Always very tasty and super friendly. Were were disappointed to hear that Lawrence has retired but the restaurant is still a main stay.

The price is right but the food is mediocre. You get what you pay for.

I grew up in Gtown.... 20 some odd yrs later, I compare any new Chinese restaurant to Yongs!Lawrence was Always Amazing to watch. Love their food, it’s always fresh and the employees are so friendly. I order off the lunch menu a lot, it’s great value and the quality and taste are fantastic.

I got to say Yong's came trough with a correction on my order within minutes of my delivery. Food was great. Hot and fresh. We have been customers for years and still pick this top list restaurant for great Chinese Food! A++

Was going to go to the Georgetown Mall for Chinese but they were closing up and had nothing left. Googled Georgetown Chinese Food and I gave it a try. It is amazing I am so impressed and will be going back! So fresh and delicious.

They have a great little Saturday night buffet. Staff are always friendly and welcoming :)

Too lazy to cook. Too lazy to go out. Had a craving for something other than pizza. Beef and chicken Lo Mein. Chicken fried rice. Moo Goo Guy Pan. Chicken balls with more chicken than breading. Oh yeah. Had to have the veggies (make the wife happy). Easily fed 6 hungry people for ~$100. You know I'm calling again.

The best Chinese food in G'town and anywhere else. I would get this regularly when I was in high school many many years ago, lunch combo C was perfect. I've since moved out of Georgetown and in the couple cities I've lived in, nothing has compared to Yongs. I will drive to Georgetown just to get this to eat or I will make a point to go there when I visit my parents in Georgetown.

After 20 years we found this mediocre at best. What the heck happened? Egg foo young not firm or crisp, there was 1cm of water in container, yuck. Sweet and sour, though generous in serving, was nothing but red sauce and deep friend meat nuggets. No red or green bell peppers, onion, or pineapple. How is this sweet and sour? Granted it was busy but really.

Food is amazing my family goes every year for Christmas !

We have ordered large and small take out orders from yongs for events, or just a dinner at home and we have never been disappointed! Delivery is always prompt, food is always hot and tasty and the customer service is 100%

Ordered combo 4 it was the worst. Chicken was over cooked. Called to complain they said we would replace it for us. When we got there they called us saying they need the old food brought back before they would give us a combo. We told them we threw it out. They wouldn't do anything for us. After dealing with Youngs a good 10 years .We will have to find a new place to eat.

I like this restaurant! They serve delicious meals, their menu is decent, The chef in that place is a professional, I like very much trying all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the service towards the clients is friendly. I often eat in this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Georgetown!

Usually they are great but tonight not the same; lack of chicken and beef; not the same quality. I guess everyone is allowed one bad night.

The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. The amount of food is also generous.Service is excellent with very polite and attentive waitresses.

Have had mixed experience's with various Chinese restaurants in Georgetown,but this last one was my worse one.I placed my order a day in advance of Christmas Eve to be picked up at 5:30 pm , I arrived at the scheduled time to find the usual chaos with 15 to 20 people waiting for their orders as well, I was asked for my number a few times so they could go check,it was so unorganized ,for a restaurant that goes through this every year you would think that they would have a system in place,one hour and 15min later my order surfaced,no apologies no discount no customer service.The rice tasted burnt and there was no plum sauce for the spring rolls and most of the dishes were cold, needless to say I will not be ordering again or recommending this restaurant to any one.

I’m not sure how this restaurant got a four-star from other people seriously the worst food I’ve ever eaten, and what’s up with serving processed chicken ? It was my first time trying this restaurant because of all the good ratings I will not give them my money again not sure how they stay open

If I could leave -100 stars I would.I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how this restaurant has the ratings it does.I ordered food from here and it was FULL OF BONES. *THE DUMPLINGS HAD BONES.*THE NOODLES HAD BONES. *The rice was DRY ( at least a week old. 5-minute rice from the grocery store tastes better)*The chicken had way too much grissle and not enough sauce ALSO RECEIVED HONEY GARLIC NOT GENERAL TAO AS I ORDERED* 2nd chicken we ordered was not "spicy" OVERALL.. FLAVOURLESS..DISGUSTING..AND TO BE HONEST WITH YOU I THREW THE FOOD OUT AFTER SPENDING $100 ON IT.MY BIGGEST QUESTION IS WHY SO MANY BONES? ABSOLUTELY REVOLTINGI WOULDNT FEED THIS FOOD TO MY OWN DOG. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE TO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL SICK AFTERWARDS.GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU DO DECIDE TO ORDER FROM HERE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR HEALTH THE WEEK FOLLOWING.

Best place to get Chinese food in town!

My husband and I are in constant search of great Chinese food in the area....this is not great but it's tolerable. It is more consistent than House of Buddha--but I find both to be a bit flavorless. Choy's is a little better if that's closer to where you are.

Traditional Chinese fare, nothing notable or exceptional. Probably not the best place for vegans (though they accommodated us?). There is a buffet and a long list of menu offerings. It was clean, it seemed frequented by regulars, it has been on the main strip for at least the last 30 years - maybe more?It seems to be open later than some of its neighbours and service was just on the cusp of being militant.

Great food, friendly clean restaurant. Love eating there, portions are good size, you won't leave hungry and prices are reasonable.
